About the role
The Network Engineer II supports the bank's wide area network across 61 offices, two data center locations and the operations center, and owns remote access for staff and for our technology vendors. The bank is midway through a migration from managed MPLS circuits to a software defined wide area network.

What you will do
- Support branch and data center routing, switching and wireless across the network, including the branch refresh schedule.
- Administer the perimeter firewalls and the remote access concentrators, including policy changes through the change advisory board.
- Maintain the remote access environment used by staff and by vendor support engineers, including the published application set and the session policies that govern it.
- Execute the site by site cutover from MPLS to the software defined wide area network, roughly two branches per week.
- Support the annual disaster recovery exercise, including the failover of network services to the secondary data center.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for network availability.
What we are looking for
- Four or more years in enterprise network engineering, ideally in a multi-site environment.
- CCNA required, CCNP or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with remote access and application delivery infrastructure.
- Willingness to travel to branch locations across Tennessee, north Georgia and north Alabama.
