Personal Banker

About the role

The Personal Banker at our Cleveland Main office opens deposit accounts, takes consumer and small business loan applications, and is the office contact for clients who need help with a service problem rather than a transaction.

What you will do

• Open consumer and small business deposit accounts, including identification collection and beneficial ownership certification.
• Take consumer loan and small business loan applications and prepare them for underwriting.
• Resolve service problems that reach the office, including disputes, statement questions and digital banking access.
• Refer clients to mortgage, commercial, treasury management and wealth partners.

What we are looking for

• Two or more years in a bank branch or client service role.
• Comfort explaining an account agreement, a fee and a hold to a client who is unhappy about it.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
