Desmond arrived in February 2026 to stand up SBA 7(a) and 504 origination for the Tennessee and north Georgia markets. He splits his week between Knoxville Main and the Main Office in Chattanooga. Before Calder he spent nine years originating SBA loans for a national lender in Atlanta. He holds an accounting degree from Georgia State University.
