Ellis Vandergriff joined Calder in 2009 as Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking, was named President in 2015 and Chief Executive Officer in 2016. He began his career as a national bank examiner and spent 11 years in middle market lending in Nashville and Birmingham before returning to the Tennessee Valley. He chairs the asset and liability committee and represents the bank on the Tennessee Bankers Association government relations council. He holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Tennessee and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
