Commercial Credit Analyst

About the role

The Commercial Credit Analyst spreads and analyzes financial statements, writes credit presentations for the officers loan committee, and supports annual reviews across the commercial portfolio.

What you will do

• Spread business and personal financial statements and tax returns, and build the cash flow and global cash flow analysis.
• Write credit presentations for new requests, renewals and annual reviews, including the risk rating recommendation.
• Monitor covenants, borrowing base certificates and financial statement receipt across an assigned portfolio.
• Support the quarterly credit quality reporting the Chief Credit Officer takes to the board risk committee.

What we are looking for

• One or more years in commercial credit analysis, or completion of a formal bank credit training program.
• Ability to read a tax return and explain what the borrower actually earned.
• B.S. or B.B.A. in accounting, finance or economics.
