About the role
Calder Bank & Trust is hiring a Core Systems Analyst to support and extend our Jack Henry SilverLake core banking platform. This position sits in the Core Applications group and works daily with deposit operations, loan operations and the digital banking channels team. The bank completed its core modernization program in April 2026, and this role owns the parameter, workflow and integration work that follows it.

What you will do
- Maintain SilverLake application parameters, product codes, fee and rate tables, and general ledger interfaces across deposit and loan applications.
- Support the nightly batch cycle on IBM i, including abend research, restart procedures and coordination with the operations center on the 11:00 p.m. cutoff.
- Build and maintain jXchange and SymXchange service integrations between the core and the digital banking, teller and imaging platforms.
- Write and modify CL programs and query definitions, and support ODBC reporting connections into the SilverLake libraries.
- Participate in the quarterly SilverLake release cycle, including regression validation in the non-production environment and the release sign-off package for change management.
- Serve in the on-call rotation for core availability, which averages one week in four.
What we are looking for
- Three or more years supporting a bank core banking platform. SilverLake strongly preferred, other Jack Henry or comparable core platforms considered.
- Working knowledge of IBM i concepts: libraries, journaling, subsystems, job queues and output queues.
- Familiarity with SQL and with either CL or RPG.
- Understanding of deposit and loan operations in a commercial bank, including regulatory reporting dependencies on core data.
- Ability to pass a background and credit review as required for positions with core system access.
