About the role

Calder is adding a Mortgage Loan Originator in the Knoxville market. The role develops purchase business through realtor, builder and client referral relationships and originates conforming, portfolio and construction to permanent loans.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain referral relationships in the Knoxville and Farragut markets.
• Take applications, issue the loan estimate within the required window and manage the file to closing.
• Structure portfolio and construction to permanent loans with the residential credit team.
• Maintain registration in the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and complete annual continuing education.

What we are looking for

• Three or more years originating residential mortgage loans, with an established referral base.
• Active registration in the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System, or eligibility to register before a start date.
• Working knowledge of agency guidelines and of the disclosure timelines under the integrated disclosure rule.
