Calder Financial Corporation Elects Lorraine Deaton-Mays to its Board of Directors

The retired payments technology executive will chair the board technology committee.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. Calder Financial Corporation has elected Lorraine Deaton-Mays to its board of directors, effective immediately. She will chair the board technology committee.

Deaton-Mays served 11 years as chief information officer of a payments processing company, where she led the company through two platform consolidations before retiring in 2023.

"We are in the middle of the largest technology program this bank has ever run, and the board needed someone who has been on the other side of one," said Harlan W. Prewitt, Chairman of the Board. "Lorraine has, twice."

The technology committee reviews the bank's technology strategy and its information security program with management each quarter.
