The bank adds implementation and sales staff in Huntsville as commercial payment volume grows.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. Calder Bank & Trust, N.A. is expanding its treasury management team with new implementation and sales positions based at its Huntsville, Alabama commercial banking office.
The expansion follows three years of growth in the bank's commercial payments business. The treasury management group now supports more than 400 commercial clients across ACH origination, wire services, positive pay, remote deposit capture and commercial card.
"When I came here in 2017 this was a two-person deposit services desk," said Rosalind Meacham, Executive Vice President of Treasury Management and Payments. "North Alabama is the market where our commercial clients have grown most quickly, and implementation is the part of the relationship a client remembers. Putting that work next to the client instead of two hours away is the whole point."
Clients onboarded to the bank's commercial digital banking platform receive dual control payment approval and entitlement review at 90 days as standard practice. Commercial clients with treasury management questions may reach the support desk at (423) 555-0125.
