Calder Bank & Trust personal and small business digital banking runs on Q2 Online. The mobile app and the website are the same service. You enroll one time, and the credentials you create work in both places. This page covers what the app does, the mobile check deposit limits and funds availability rules, how enrollment works, and how sign on is protected.
If you already use Calder Bank & Trust online banking on a computer, you do not need to enroll again. Sign in to the app with the same username and password. Search your device's app store for Calder Bank & Trust and confirm that Calder Bank & Trust, N.A. is listed as the publisher before you install. If the listing shows any other publisher, do not install it, and call us at (423) 555-0142.
Endorse the back of the check, photograph the front and the back, and submit. The app reads the amount, but check it against the amount written on the check before you send it, because a mismatch is the most common reason a deposit is rejected. Limits and availability are described below. Keep the paper check for 14 calendar days after the deposit posts, then destroy it.
Transfer between your Calder Bank & Trust accounts immediately, schedule a transfer for a future date, or set a repeating transfer. Transfers to accounts you hold at another financial institution are available after you verify the outside account.
Add a payee, schedule a one time payment, or set a recurring payment. Electronic payments are generally delivered in one to two business days. Payments issued by paper check require five business days.
Turn a debit card off from the card detail screen if you have misplaced it, then turn it back on when you find it. A freeze blocks new authorizations. It does not stop recurring charges you have already authorized or transactions already in process. Report a card that is stolen at /support/lost-card.
Choose the balance, deposit, withdrawal and security events you want to hear about, and whether each one reaches you by push notification, email or text message.
Open the most recent 18 months of account statements and any available tax documents. Statement delivery preferences are changed under Settings and apply to both the app and the website.
Tap an account, then Details, to see its account number. Reorder checks at /support/order-checks. Branch and drive-up hours are at /locations.
Commercial clients do not use this app. Treasury Gateway is the platform for commercial cash management. See /business/treasury and, for scanner based check deposit, /business/remote-deposit.
Limits are applied to the total of all accounts under your online banking profile, not to each account separately. If your profile matches more than one row below, the lowest limit shown for any account on the profile governs the entire profile. The rolling 30 day limit counts every mobile deposit you submitted in the preceding 30 calendar days, including the day of the current deposit. Limits shown are effective March 1, 2026.
| Customer status | Per item | Per calendar day | Rolling 30 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Personal account open at least 90 days | $5,000 | $5,000 | $15,000 |
| Personal account open less than 90 days | $1,000 | $1,000 | $2,500 |
| Small business account open at least 90 days | $10,000 | $10,000 | $40,000 |
| Small business account open less than 90 days | $2,500 | $2,500 | $7,500 |
Mobile deposit is available on personal and small business checking and savings accounts in good standing. Some account types do not qualify, and the app will tell you if an account is not eligible when you select it. A deposit that would carry you past a limit is declined in the app at the moment you submit it, so nothing is left pending. If you need a higher limit, call (423) 555-0142 or ask at any office. We review the request against how long the account has been open and how the account has been handled. We do not raise limits over email.
Bring these to a branch or a drive-up window instead. We cannot accept a check made payable to someone other than the account owner, a check that has already been deposited anywhere, a check dated more than six months earlier, a check drawn on a bank outside the United States, a traveler's check, a money order, a savings bond, or a check that has been altered on its face.
Sign the back of the check and write For mobile deposit at Calder Bank & Trust only beneath your signature. A deposit submitted without that restriction may be returned, and a returned item may carry a fee. Fee amounts are listed in the schedule referenced at /disclosures.
Our mobile deposit cutoff is 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. A deposit you submit before the cutoff on a business day is accepted that business day. A deposit submitted after the cutoff, on a Saturday or Sunday, or on a federal holiday is accepted on the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays.
Funds from a mobile deposit are normally available on the first business day after the business day we accept the deposit. Regulation CC requires the first $225 of a day's deposits to be available on that first business day. We make that $225 available earlier, on the business day we accept the deposit.
| You submit | Business day we accept it | First $225 available | Remainder normally available |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 3:10 p.m. Eastern | Tuesday | Tuesday | Wednesday |
| Tuesday 9:40 p.m. Eastern | Wednesday | Wednesday | Thursday |
| Saturday 11:00 a.m. Eastern | Monday | Monday | Tuesday |
| Friday 6:00 p.m. Eastern before a Monday federal holiday | Friday | Friday | Tuesday |
We may delay availability beyond the schedule above in the circumstances Regulation CC permits, which include a check we have reason to doubt will be paid, a deposit into an account open 30 days or less, deposits over $6,725 on any one day, and repeated overdrafts. When we hold a deposit, the app shows the hold and the date the funds are scheduled to release, and we send a notice. The full policy is in the Funds Availability Disclosure at /disclosures.
After enrollment, the same username and password work on the website and in the app. Changing your password in one place changes it in both. If you are locked out, use the password reset link on the sign on screen, or call us at (423) 555-0142. Office hours differ by location and are listed with each office at /locations.
Sign on is protected by Duo Security. After you enter your username and password, Duo sends an approval request to the device you registered. The sign on does not complete until that request is approved. You can register more than one device so you are not stranded if you replace a phone.
We will never ask you to approve a Duo push that you did not start yourself. If a push arrives when you are not signing in, deny it. Then change your password and call (423) 555-0142. A push you did not start means someone else has your username and password. No Calder Bank & Trust employee will ever call you and ask you to approve a push, read back a one time code, or move money to a "protected" account. Those calls are fraud. Reporting steps are at /support/fraud.
| Control | What it does | Where to set it |
|---|---|---|
| Duo approval at sign on | Requires approval on a registered device before a session opens. | Always on for every profile. It cannot be turned off. Registered devices are managed under Settings, Security. |
| Biometric or passcode unlock | Opens the app with the fingerprint, face or passcode already configured on your device instead of retyping your password. | Settings, Security. Turn off if the device is shared. |
| Session timeout | Closes an idle session after 10 minutes. | Fixed. It cannot be extended. |
| Sign on alert | Notifies you when your profile is accessed from a device we have not seen before. | Settings, Alerts. We suggest leaving this on. |
| Card freeze | Blocks new authorizations on a debit card until you turn it back on. | Card detail screen. See also /personal/cards. |
Additional guidance on protecting your accounts is at /security. Our privacy practices are at /privacy.

Alerts are a courtesy notification. They are not a substitute for reviewing your statement. Delivery can be delayed by your carrier or your mail provider.
Pending means we received the images and have not finished processing. A deposit submitted before the 8:00 p.m. Eastern cutoff on a business day is normally processed that evening. If the status has not changed by the end of the next business day, call (423) 555-0142.
The most frequent reasons are a missing endorsement, an amount typed that does not match the amount written on the check, an image where a corner or an edge is cut off, and a check already deposited elsewhere. The app names the reason. Correct it and submit again, or bring the check to an office.
Hold it for 14 calendar days after the deposit posts, then destroy it. Do not deposit it again anywhere.
Install the app and sign in with your existing username and password. You will need to approve the sign on from a device already registered with Duo, or call us to register the new one. Your alerts, payees and scheduled transfers carry over.
Yes, if you have a working data connection. Tell us your travel dates first so card activity abroad is not blocked. Some countries are restricted under United States sanctions rules, and access from those locations is denied.
No. A freeze blocks new authorizations. Recurring charges you previously authorized and transactions already in process can still post. Cancel a subscription with the merchant directly.
Call (423) 555-0142 as soon as you notice it. For an electronic transfer, tell us no later than 60 days after we send or make available the statement on which the unauthorized transfer first appears, or you may not get your money back. If your debit card is lost or stolen, report it within two business days of learning of the loss and your liability is capped at $50. Report it after two business days and the cap rises to $500. Full steps and the deadlines that apply are at /support/fraud. For a lost or stolen card, go to /support/lost-card.
Tell us at /accessibility or by calling the main number. We also take questions through /support and /contact.

Digital banking, mobile deposit and alerts are subject to approval and to the Online and Mobile Banking Agreement, the Deposit Account Agreement, the Funds Availability Disclosure and the Electronic Fund Transfer disclosures, each available at /disclosures. The terms of those agreements control if anything on this page differs from them. Deposit limits, the cutoff time and availability schedules stated here are effective March 1, 2026 and may change. We will give notice of a change when notice is required.
We do not charge for the mobile app. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates apply, and international roaming charges may apply when you use the app outside the United States. Mobile deposit requires a compatible device, a current version of the app and a working data connection. Not every account type qualifies for mobile deposit. Approval of a deposit is not a guarantee that the check will be paid, and we may charge the account if a deposited item is returned unpaid.
